We've been having the most awful weather here and I am SO tired of being stuck inside.
(...and Jason hates my projects too because they cost money and I seem to never finish them...I imagine they will just get worse when I actually have space to do them - after all, what else are we supposed to do all day?)Daniellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15676485158487357907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8438038746640767007.post-79327770403449551262010-06-09T14:04:13.223-07:002010-06-09T14:04:13.223-07:00I'll post on this one. :) I'm glad you gu...I'll post on this one. :) I'm glad you guys are getting to do some fun things and am jealous that your weather is nice enough to be outside a lot. We've only had a handful of days like that so far and I'm about to go crazy. Your girls are adorable and I can't wait to meet Claire!Kristinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15798087594885841100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8438038746640767007.post-48755338666174236062010-06-09T18:25:08.384-07:002010-06-09T18:25:08.384-07:00I, too, am jealous of your outings and nice weathe...I, too, am jealous of your outings and nice weather. We have been getting so much rain here we have been trapped inside!

I'm impressed you find the time to do projects with two kids around. It gives me hope. :)Mandyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08498952539780388706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8438038746640767007.post-67834774445133137992010-06-10T05:34:08.792-07:002010-06-10T05:34:08.792-07:00Tying a quilt is a chore even when you have two pe...Tying a quilt is a chore even when you have two people there helping. The quilt that Lisa and I made was for our king size bed, and that would have taken forever to tie for one person. With both of us and her mom, it still took a couple of hours. But it was worth it. I love that quilt. And not just because I did most of the designing and a lot of the sewing on it.

Projects are a good thing, though. At least they keep you busy and give you something to accomplish. It's important to do work that produces a visible, tangible result. Spending all of your time doing maintenance work (dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc.) just to have to do it all over again the next day can get really old.AdamOndihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04177675133570362882noreply@blogger.com
