Birthday Fun!

Yesterday Audra got to go to a Birthday party. It was so much fun- here are some videos and pictures of the fun time:

This is Audra's first Birthday cake- at least, that had chocolate in it. Our plan of only feeding her healthy foods so she will have an aversion to sweets is working- she only liked the ice-cream part, not the chocolate cake part:

Oh, and yes Audra did pick out her outfit. And, yes, we did let her go out in public dressed like that. Pick and choose the battles, my friends, pick and choose the battles!

    Just you wait, one of these days Audra's going to get a taste of some junk food she can't resist and she's going to binge like crazy!! (Ever seen the new version of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"?) Looks like a fun party, I wish I had been invited.

    So explain to me how liking ice cream doesn't count towards liking sweets??? Looks like she had a great time.

    Yah - it seems like ice cream is way sweeter than chocolate cake! ;)
    I don't know, our kid who has had all sorts of junk (thanks mostly to his daddy) doesn't like cake either - or ice cream. I guess time will tell.
    What's wrong with her outfit? She looks alright to me.

    I knew you would be the one to argue with me, Shells!
    We have always let her eat vanilla ice-cream- that's the one sweet she is "allowed." I figure it's semi-healthy.
