A Couple of New Things

In the past couple of weeks Audra has started doing some really cute things:

Instead of her usual breakfast, she now wants to eat cereal like Mommy and Daddy. But, she doesn't like it when it gets mushy- who can blame her?

Then, her new favorite thing is her "Dolly." She takes her with her everywhere she goes and gives her lots and lots of kisses!

She put her in her highchair and then pushed her over to the table. But, then she got REALLY mad when she realized I had to take Dolly out to put her in to eat. She also likes to feed Dolly, carry her everywhere, sleep with her, and everything else. It is really cute, and this is the first thing she has really become attached to. Very cute!!!

  3. She's getting big. Well I guess I've only seen her twice, once when she was fairly new at Seth's wedding reception and the second time was out the CHW Reunion. So, I guess she's going to get bigger :)

We should get the kiddies together sometime...preferably before I get so huge in my pregnancy that it is impossible to walk.

  6. For those of you who have boys, are they the same way- getting attached to something and playing "daddy" with it? It is just amazing to me the "motherly instincts" she has at such a young age, and I would like to think it is that part of woman that God puts into us to make us want to be nurturers. But, maybe boys do the same things and my theory is incorrect:)

It really is cute, though, to see her feed the baby, and give her kisses and hugs- she will even carry her around on her shoulder and pat her back- how cute!!!

  7. The boys have that gene too. Enoch definitely took care of Hilde's dolls at around that age. And whenever a baby cries near us, he wants to go comfort it. I think that it may be stronger in some girls or boys than others though.
